Background – Understanding JA’s Needs
JA has been supported by Libertatem Healthcare for around 18 months. His care team includes two male support workers, Robert and Dean, who share his interests in football and golf. This compatibility has helped create a relaxed, supportive environment where JA feels understood and valued – an essential foundation for building trust and confidence.
Our Approach – Personalised, Interest-Based Support
From the start, our focus has been on providing person-centred care that aligns with JA’s lifestyle and interests. His support team encourages him to take an active role in his daily routine, including managing his own washing and tidying up.
The bond between JA and his carers extends well beyond daily support — so much so that JA asked Robert to be his best man, showing the genuine trust and friendship that has developed.
Family Feedback – A Positive Impact at Home
JA’s father describes the care arrangement as life-changing. He now has more time for himself and feels reassured knowing JA is safe, supported, and encouraged to be independent.
When asked to rate the experience, JA’s dad gave his support workers 10/10, and 9/10 overall for his experience with Libertatem Healthcare. He proudly shared how JA enjoyed a golfing holiday in Portugal, something made possible by his carers’ encouragement and support.

The Outcome – Confidence, Independence, and Quality of Life
Through the consistent support and shared interests of his team, JA has become more confident, independent, and socially engaged. He continues to pursue his hobbies and stay active within his community – a reflection of his growing autonomy and happiness.

The Result – The Power of Personalised Complex Care
JA’s journey highlights how Libertatem Healthcare’s strengths-based, relationship-led approach to complex care can make a real difference. By aligning support with each individual’s goals and passions, we help our clients live with confidence, connection, and purpose – every day.
