Paediatric complex care
Our experienced, nurse-led teams work closely with families to offer care which supports children with complex care needs to live their lives to their fullest, safely at home.
We know the immense trust families have to put in the care teams working alongside them to care for their children in the family home. It is a privilege and responsibility we take very seriously indeed.
Our carefully chosen teams can support children with a wide range of different needs including spinal or acquired brain injuries, learning disabilities, cerebral palsy, neurological or degenerative conditions, epilepsy and other complex care needs.
Complex Care for Children and Young People
Care for children and young people is carefully tailored to make sure it meets the needs of the child, and their family.
We offer:
- Day Care
- Night Care
- Respite Care
- Live-in Care
- 24-hour Care
- Support to attend school, college and activities
An experienced and compassionate Nurse Manager will work closely with families to create a personalised care plan, and they will continue to work alongside the team providing care, offering oversight and support.
Care plans don’t only consider the child’s health needs, but also what they would like to do, what they would like to achieve, their goals, ambitions, likes and dislikes.
We work with children and families throughout their lives and at different stages of their journey. Care is flexed and adapted to meet their changing needs. And as well as supporting through the child to adult transition process, keeping the same skilled and trusted team of carers around the young person and their families, we also support children and young people to attend school, after school activities, college and further education – and enjoy the opportunities, hobbies and interests they enjoy.
